Vintage Style Wedding Centerpieces

Materials:
String
Rubber band
Deckle scissors
Vintage lace {Etsy.com}
Glimmer Mist spray {Stampington.com}
Tag {I made using StampinUp.com materials}
Chicken wire basket lined with glass {Adjectives Market}
1 sheet of vintage music for every 2 centerpieces {Etsy.com}

Coordinate materials to your wedding colors: this features aqua

  1. Make tags in advance
  2. Mist flowers of choice with Glimmer mist and secure with rubber band {I used Sea Glass}
  3. Cut sheet music to fit with deckle scissors. {In my case exactly in half, it depends upon the size to the sheet. Make a trial version using regular paper to be sure of exact size}
  4. Line basket with sheet music, overlap is okay
  5. Place tipped flowers in basket and add water. You'll have to use a second container to hold the water inside the larger one to keep the paper dry. Alternately, use flowers dry and fill with wedding favors wrapped to coordinate {I wrapped vintage style pencil boxes filled with pencils, candy bars would work well too}
  6. Secure tag using string and embellish with vintage lace and a bow made from seam binding. Ensure the centerpiece looks good from all angles.

  2. Hi SueBee, I did my niece's wedding. I used these on the pub tables she had set up at the reception.
